Dr. Carlton Fenzl, a graduate of the University of Utah Moran Eye Center fellowship program, specializes in cornea, external disease, and refractive surgery. This advanced training in the cornea, the part of the eye treated for LASIK, gives his LASIK patients an advantage over other general ophthalmologists. He received his medical degree at Drexel University College of Medicine, Philadelphia, PA and attended New York Medical College Jamaica Hospital, NY for residency.

Dr. Fenzl is up to date on the most advanced cornea and refractive surgery procedures including laser in-situ keratomileusis (LASIK), and photorefractive keratectomy (PRK), penetrating keratoplasty (PKP), lamellar corneal transplantation (DSAEK, DMEK, and DALK), and corneal cross-linking (KXL). He is also proficient in standard and complex cataract surgery including toric and multifocal lens implantation as well as sutured intraocular lenses.

Dr. Fenzl has published numerous papers in peer reviewed journals as well as recently presented papers at the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons (ASCRS) annual meeting and the New York Academy of Medicine.
