What Is Xeomin®?
Xeomin® is an injectable medication classified as a neuromodulator. It works by temporarily relaxing specific facial muscles that cause dynamic wrinkles—lines that form from repeated facial expressions like squinting, frowning, or raising your eyebrows. Once the muscle activity is reduced, the skin above it smooths out, creating a more relaxed and youthful appearance.
This FDA-approved product relax muscles under your skin, smoothing wrinkles caused by muscle contractions like:
- Frown lines between eyebrows
- Crow’s feet around the eyes
- Forehead lines

What Areas Can Be Treated?
Neuromodulators are often used to smooth common problem areas such as frown lines between the eyebrows (glabellar lines), horizontal forehead creases, and crow’s feet at the corners of the eyes.
Because Dr. Repp specializes in eyelid and periocular surgery, his deep understanding of the muscles around the eyes allows for highly targeted injections that target smooth, symmetrical results, without a “frozen” look. Patients often combine it with other services like upper or lower eyelid surgery for more comprehensive rejuvenation.
What to Expect from Your Cosmetic Injection
Your treatment begins with a one-on-one consultation with Dr. Repp, during which you’ll discuss your goals and develop a customized plan. You can often receive treatment on the same day if you’re a candidate. The procedure is quick, usually under 15 minutes, and most patients describe only minimal discomfort.
There’s no required downtime. You can return to most of your normal activities immediately after treatment. Full results typically appear within three to seven days, reaching peak effect at around two weeks. Results generally last about three months, and regular maintenance appointments help sustain a smooth, refreshed look.
