Sports Vision Training

Sports Vision Training

Used by high school, collegiate, Olympic, & professional athletes, to improve visual skills, this program:

  • Evaluates and trains visual skills
  • Provides feedback with a scoring system
  • Is convenient and interactive
  • User friendly

The interactive visual exercises include:

  • Eye alignment
  • Depth perception
  • Eye flexibility
  • Visual recognition
  • Visual tracking

After your evaluation and exam with our Sports Vision Specialist, Dr. Bartels, you will be tested to determine what areas of your visual skills can be enhanced.

The data is converted into a single numerical score. Then you receive a custom CD-rom and 3-D glasses. The CD–rom is designed to help improve visual skills in areas where the test results were low.

Training is performed at home 1 to 3 times per week. Each session lasts up to 10 minutes. The typical athlete will use 20 to 60 sessions. With regular use, it improves speed and efficiency of the visual system. At about eight weeks a second exam is performed, the scores are evaluated and your program is modified based on your results.

Athletes, coaches and trainers have long recognized the benefits of good nutrition, aerobic conditioning, weight training, and quality equipment. Today, no athlete who strives for excellence can ignore the visual system as a vital component of training.
