Title: My Personal Transformation Author: Jimmy Contreras We live in an era of transformations. Lasik surgery by Eye Surgeons Associates would be my personal transformation. It would have a dramatic impact on my life with many positive manifestations. My imagination is already running amok. This surgery would allow me to play team sports without worrying about breaking my glasses. I could go swimming and actually see where I'm going. I could wear goggles and enjoy the underwater wonders of the ocean or lake. I could even pucker up and really get close and personal with my better half without having to remove my glasses first. Just think, I could get up in the middle of the night and have almost instant vision. I would not have to fumble with my glasses before I could take the first step. I could shower and actually see if I washed behind the ears. Why I could even wear a mask on Halloween or a Santa mask on Christmas without my glasses fogging up. Never again would I have to undergo the ritual of constantly cleaning my glasses. I could read, watch television, or enjoy a favorite movie without adjusting my bifocal vision continually. When I was a kid, I had visions that someday ophthalmological science would do away with eye glasses. But I envisioned that this would be way after I was having coffee with Saint Peter. To my amazement, that day is happening now. I'm a fairly homely looking guy and, in danger of sounding vain, lasik surgery would make me look ten years younger and make me feel ten feet taller.
