Title: When the wind blows...
Author: Charley Eads

I think I understand now how my students feel when I give an essay question on my tests!

All day long I am watching students be students. They try to get away with their cell phones in class. They will most certainly try to talk as much as they can. Writing on desks seems to be a popular way to send a message without seeing their friends. I see them learning about different cultures and how the world is seen through others eyes. Seeing the amazement and the curiosity in their eyes will help you keep telling stories that are unbelievably true. I am also watching for danger. Danger lurks in places where people least suspect it. Before school we lift weights. After school we run, just to be all we can be physically. When the year is over we see the wind has picked us up and carried us as far as we want to go. I try not to let a moment pass me by or I might miss them growing as humans. Its amazing what happens when you blink and miss what happens when the wind blows.
