Title: Everything goes to heck at 50!
Author: Bob Guy

I've always been a kid at heart, a man who refuses to grow up. Age has never been anything more than a number to me, until I turned 50, that is.

My wife had been after me for quite some time to get my eyes checked, have my cholesterol checked, have my blood presure checked, have a colonoscopy exam, all the usual maintenance things that people do when they get old. My answer was always the same, "When I turn 50 I'll get a total tune-up".

In October of 2007 I turned 50 and everything changed. As promised, I got a “total tune-up”. Within a matter of days I was put on blood presure and cholesterol medication, I was informed that I did not have a “happy colon”, and I got glasses. Not just glasses but bifocals. Talk about a reality check! Everything goes to heck at 50!

Since turning 50 I’ve been fighting to turn back the hands of time. Thanks to medication my blood presure and cholesterol are now under control. A couple polyps later my colon is “happy” again, leaving one obstacle between myself and eternal youth, these darn glasses.

If I were to win the Free Lasik procedure I’m sure my childish (I mean my youthful) self would be restored.
